Prayer update for Neighborhood Ministries:

Well the trek up the mountain called purchasing property has semi-officially begun.   We have packed our proverbial backpacks and are waiting for the weather to clear ... then up we go.

Let me tell you what has happened.  The owners of the property we are interested in have come to a family/corporation agreement on price.  The numbers are not too far from where we were last in our verbal process with them.  This is very good news, in that we are going forward with the property that has every indication of meeting our needs.

We need to be praying for the next step.  It is a meeting with this same family with a financial planner who can help set up a charitable trust for the purpose of saving everyone some money.  It seems like a great deal right now and so we are praying for this set of meetings to feel positive and encouraging
to all involved. 

Meanwhile, we need prayer to finish our literature so that we will be ready for fund-raising, which will need to take place in a short window of 90 days.  That would be akin to putting on the backpacks and beginning the trek, realizing there is not unlimited time.  We need to raise $485,000.00 just for the down payment.

Pray with us, dearest friends.  God is taking us forward.  We are hoping for His great favor resting upon this process.
