Dear Praying Friends,

Thank you for holding us before the Lord these many weeks and months.  God is good and we continue forward counting the last few days of our free look period, entering into the 90 days of escrow to purchase the 7 1/2 acres in downtown Phoenix.  Each day is a day of work and faith, doing what God has given us to do, and yet believing Him for the ways through the hard, difficult and sometimes impossible parts.

It is happening, though it seems, slowly.  A large church in the valley committed $50,000.00 this past week to The Neighborhood Center.  We are close to $300,000.00 now.  I have a meeting this Friday with a key friend of this ministry.  The fund-raising team (development team) meets weekly, each member faithful to what has been given them to do.  God has given us some key advisors to this process who also meet with us faithfully.

• Pray for our perseverance and faith. 

• Pray for our energy level so that we might be able to go the distance. 

• Please pray for our vision and hope on the days when this project seems daunting and impossible.

• Thank God with us for the many who have chosen to stand alongside this project already and give generously. 

• Thank God with us for the many persons who are working hard to see this project happen.

• Please pray for some key persons to join us in overseeing some specific components in the fund-raising plan: 
  1.  a major event coordinator, 
  2.  someone to oversee corporate connections,
  3.  someone to connect with local churches.

We are increasing our commitment to prayer.
