Dear Faithful Prayer Warriors, We are so grateful for your standing in prayer with us, holding up before the Lord,  the next deadline - close of escrow - June 15. The fundraising is extremely interesting, always unpredictable.  We have received two large promises this past week, totaling $150,000.00 -- bringing us to $465,000.00.  In order to close escrow we will need another $85,000.00.  Then we go on to the costs of rehabbing.  Don't forget (as i try not to) that this is a 2.1 million dollar capital campaign.  It often feels like we are completing the first leg of a marathon race. I know you continue to praise the Lord for this progress.  Will you pray for the next three days where i will be meeting potential funders at an event called, Faith Works.  Possibly, there will be future friends of Neighborhood Ministries there.  I am traveling to L.A. God Bless you, for all you represent to this ministry in your godly intercession.  These days are filled with turmoil for our world-Jesus is what our world needs.  We buried a mom of three children who are in our ministry this past week, a victim of a gang style shooting.   We grow convinced of the role of a Center where Christ is known in many tangible ways for our city.
