Celebrating the Close

Dearest Friends,

I thought I'd fill you in on today, as we have been collectively praying toward this important moment.

Only minor concerns came up, were handled, and the documents were signed bringing Neighborhood Ministries into the beginnings of it's new God given home.  Today we became property owners!!

If you have not seen the property on 19th Ave. and Van Buren, please contact me and I will gladly meet you there to pray and share what God is doing.

Meetings begin this summer to strategize about the next phases of planning both for the property and for the ministry as a whole.  It could be that you have some input regarding these next stages. Let us know.

Your prayer support continues to strengthen us.  Will you pray with us for this next stage, of continued fund-raising, and property rehab. We look forward to imagining the day we might be able to reside on the property itself, with church, kids programs, health clinic, food bank and community ministry.

Pray with us for camps and Kids Club.  Jr. High camp leaves today, high school camp next week.  Kids Club begins the 28th and lasts for a powerful two weeks.  We have 310 children registered, a teen work crew of 60, a jr. leadership team of 30 -- and many other adults.  Pray for our host church, First Historic Presbyterian, downtown.
