Kids Club ... Day 5

Dear Praying Friends, 

We thank God for your intercession these past five days.  We continue to experience provision and spiritual protection.  Just when some difficult and unexpected circumstance creates disappointment and stress, God covers in some creative way. 

Friday was both a day of spiritual importance as well as a day of celebration and fun.  The stories cover the life of Moses, Friday being the day where the lesson covered the day that the death angel passed over, and God took care of Israel by covering them with the blood of the lamb.  Each class had special time with their children making it clear to them that we too are able to be protected by the power of sin, Satan and death by the blood of the lamb. 

The gospel was presented clearly in each class immediately after watching a video clip from the Old Ten Commandments movie where the death angel passed over. 

The rest of the day was a blow out carnival at a local park, with swimming pool nearby, barbeque and hours of fun and great games.  We had one of our best carnivals, and certainly found that the heat is even something God will take care of.  There was cloud cover for most of the day. 

The battle continues even so.  At this writing, I am battling my second day of the flu.  (I pushed through the carnival and collapsed last night). 

Two of our work crew are missing, both with pretty mysterious stories. 

Pray for Victor and Paul, in their disappearance.  They are young and struggling leaders. 

Pray for Cody, another work crew, who may have broken his ankle. 

Continue to pray for Ulises, he is not back yet.  He remains in pain.  Neither is John, who is still sick with his diabetic issues. 

Pray for the work crew as they rest this weekend, gearing up for another week of ministry. 

Pray for the salvation and commitment of many children to Christ.  Kids Club is powerful in that it creates an environment where children draw near to the God who loves them.  Pray for many children to be convinced of God's love for them and receive this love personally. 

Pray for our endurance.
