The Neighborhood Center Construction Underway

Dearest Praying Friends,

As God is rich in blessing and faithful in meeting our needs, we are celebrating His goodness as construction at the Center PHYSICALLY and TANGIBLY began this week.

Footings were dug and cement poured for the classroom building and adjoining kitchen.

Work teams are coming down every Sat. now to help with the adjustments, clean-up, moving and some real construction jobs. We do need you. Call the office (602-252-5225) if you have a team ready to come down.

PRAY

  • that The Church at The Center (Spanish and English congregations) can find an alternate yet perfect location for worship and meetings during the rehab of the warehouse, which begins next week
  • for summer programs that are launched aggressively this next week also, camps, Kids Club, interns are all in some stage of movement right now
  • for staff and the many loads they carry, during the
summer programs and now with construction beginning
  • for the many safety and timing issues involved with
construction and the use of volunteers on week ends

I'll keep you posted regularly -- the pictures of construction will be up on the web page as often as Chris can get to it.

Thank you for praying. Your faith journey with this work is so visible now. Your regular intercession over the past four years has bonded us with you and you with us uniquely. I pray for you that God might touch you in a new way, reminding you of the joy we share together as He has used you to help meet needs here. Your part in moving this from faith to reality is indescribable.

We do love you, Kit
