KIDS CLUB-"The righteous cry and the Lord hears"
Dear Praying Friends,
These Kids Club days have flown by with great breakthrough, hearing hearts and safety.
I have thought of you, because of the many answered prayers so far. These answered prayer have caused me to meditate on the intercession that exists on our behalf from you the intercessors.
Thank you for praying:
James 5:16 -- "The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective"
- Lake Day was extraordinarily beautiful. Perfect weather, delighted children, lots of great food, amazingly peaceful with 500 children and staff.
- At the lake, we had great safety with boats and vehicles, also with children swimming in the lake.
- There was powerful response to the beautiful and mature testimonies of eight young people. The moment of their baptisms will be remembered by all.
- More boats than ever showed up, with five recruited from a local country radio station, KNIX; quite a few boat owners stayed for the baptism and testimonies.
- As expected, the spiritual backlash began the evening of lake day, when some among us began to buckle under the spiritual warfare. Your praying is evident, as these dear ones are surrendering to the work of the Spirit in their lives.
"And why should the good of anyone depend on the prayer of another? I can only answer with the return question, "Why should my love be powerless to help another?"
· From An Anthology of George McDonald
WORK CREW
This morning at The Church at the Neighborhood Center, the 70 member work crew will gather with the rest of us for worship. They will be prayed for and some will share what the Lord is doing in their lives so far, half way through Kids Club. We will often say, that we do Kids Club for these high school, college age, and young adults, for their lives are in significant development, and they are being envisioned for a life of service.
PRAY for these servants as they run the marathon called Kids Club, finishing a good race. Pray for ...
- strength
- direction from the Lord for those specific children
they will influence
- wisdom for those who are leading the team
- their ability to truly love one another
- hearing, for those who are called to a life of ministry
- healing for those in pain
- moments when they can rest
For you, dear pray-ers:
"The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous,
And His ears are open to their cry.
The righteous cry and the Lord hears.
And delivers them out of all their troubles."
Ps. 34:15,17
Thanks for all you do for the Lord.
Love, Kit
