Praying for The Neighborhood Center

Dearest Praying Friends,

Here is the miracle!  We are almost there, with the construction of The Neighborhood Center Phase I nearing completion.  You can imagine the hard work, dedication and perseverance it has required to get this far.  May God receive all the glory and praise!!  For He has made all this possible.

I wanted to greet you by saying that your praying for this past months requests have been felt by all of us. We had no delays with APS with the move of the transformer to another location The new hardscape design is in progress and much of it is in already -- no delays. The first Monday night Kids Life (all 400 of us) took place last Monday with a tour of the new site.  It was a tear jerker ... the kids can't wait to see it all lit up (we had a great, fun evening touring in the dark). This next Monday we are all roller-skating -- PRAY please for peace and not chaos.

COULD I ASK YOU TO PRAY US INTO THE FINISH LINE

  1. We hope to have a Temporary Occupancy Permit by Oct 31 (some would consider this miraculous, just like the rest of the journey we've been on). Please pray toward that end.

  2. It requires us to have the APS (electrical wiring) PULLED by next Friday (October 26).  This is huge!  Please pray for this specifically as this will keep us from getting our occupancy on time.

  3. Pray for the coolers to come Thursday.

  4. For the steel canopy to be finished and brackets in by Monday (Oct. 22)

  5. Pray for the asphalt parking lot and drive, for carpet in the auditorium and BCT for the floors all next week.

  6. Pray for the final playground designs and that space preparation.

  7. For the ballfield to be durable with temporary grass, sod coming in the Spring.

  8. For the 82 trees and hundreds of plants coming Tuesday.

  9. ...Windows and doors for the auditorium all coming next week

  10. AND NO RAIN UNTIL ASPHALT IS IN

We're still tired but filled with thanksgiving.  Pray for the individuals and their families who are so involved -- each would request peace for their homes and exceptional love and devotion for family members.  We want to all personally have run this race with integrity and joy.  The last four years have been amazing.

The ministry continues to feel your undergirding in loving kids, loving families, in serving on the front lines.  We can't wait to have a home, to be home -- we'll keep you posted. We're almost there.

I love you,  Kit
