KIDS CLUB begins tomorrow!!!
     June 24-July 5

        About 450 kids will show up at The Neighborhood Center tomorrow for the best two weeks of their summer. They will be greeted by a trained and empowered work crew -- 70 urban and suburban young adults who are living all together under one roof -- who will give their lives away serving the Lord and kids.

        Kids Club brings us together for great fun. We go on adventure-filled filed trips, have great experiences in local pools and parks, travel to an Arizona lake and celebrate with carnivals, t-shirts and food.

        Kids Club brings us together for great breakthrough. Many children will meet the Lord for the first time, pray for their parents or relatives and gain hope for their futures. Many workers will be reminded about sacrifice, redemption and hope in a way that changes their desires to invest in the Kingdom.

        Kids Club brings us together for great joy. Each small group has leaders who love kids, confident that their love can "cover a multitude of sins". Community happens as we love each other and do the hard work of hoping against hope for the way through for many kids who face multiple hardships in life.

     Pray for teachers and their spiritual discernment in teaching the lessons

    Pray for 450 kids -- for salvation, spiritual breakthroughs, healing, hope and empowerment

    Pray for 70+ workcrew and their leadership team -- for unity on the team and daily strength -- pray that their physical health would be protected from all sickness

    Pray for safety in all activities, on all vehicles

      Pray for activity teachers, rec day directors and for field trips -- that each are powerful opportunities for teaching and fun and that each are protected

      Pray for the HUB team that organizes thousands of details daily

      Pray for the morning program that includes great fun skits, serious worship and a hugely important group time each day

    Your intercession is bringing us through it.  The funeral yesterday was so important and beyond all we could have asked or thought.  So many people were touched with love and grace.  These next two weeks with Kids Club, we are asking the Lord for lives moving into places of hope, stability and joy. We want to see Jesus!
