Prayer Requests for the Summer of 2006
Dear Friends,
We are so
grateful for your partnership. Do you have it in you to pray us through
the final stretch? We are still busy about the love and development of
our kids and youth this summer.
KIDS CAMP
A few hours
ago 65 kids and 40 staff left for the beautiful mountains of Arizona for
a week of memory making together. Kids Camp is a week of amazing fun,
but it is also very powerful to get alone with our kids and take
seriously the truths they have been hearing all summer.
- Pray for
the lessons at barn time, built around the Good Gifts of God
-- "Is that for me"?
- Pray for
the counselors for the persevering strength they need to follow
energetic kids for a week
- Pray for
the camp staff, for focus and joy
- Pray for
safety on all fronts
- and pray
for our worship which stands out each summer as a highlight
And in just
two days there is another ...
Beach Camp (with 30+ teens and
staff, loving on kids for a week)
And 6 more

"I Can Do It" trips leave this
week (where kids and leaders will experience the life transforming
opportunities God is giving them)
- to LA
- to San
Francisco
- to the
Navajo Reservation
- to Denver
- and two
river rafting trips in Colorado
PLEASE PRAY for the ways in which the Lord will meet
kids and leaders alike, sharing His life transforming hope, power and
love
